Did you know that 2025 is our DIAMOND JUBILEE year?
This year we celebrate 75 years since our founders, the Walbanckes, started rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming horses, as well as campaigning tirelessly against the live export of horses for slaughter along with many other welfare issues close to their hearts. All from a rented field with an officers mess hut as shelter! Fast forward 75 years and today HRF has rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed hundreds of horses, ponies and donkeys – we are now based in a purpose built centre at Woodstock Farm, and in order to continue this legacy for a further 75 years and beyond we need YOUR help!! keep an eye out for our ‘YEAR of EVENTS’ calendar to see where you can join in and make a difference!!
